MANGO’s latest collab with designer Supriya Lele just dropped, and let’s just say, lounging in the sun is gonna look good. “A Summer Reverie” offers a collection perfectly suited for lazing in summer’s warm embrace. You’ll find free flowing dresses, minimalist silhouettes, and of course Lele’s signature hip cut-out leggings, perfect for dressing up or keeping it cool.

It’s the latest collaboration in MANGO’s new initiative, ‘Mango Collective’. Intended to magnify the exceptionality of indie, female designers, the platform encourages the celebration (and accessible price points) of fresh and daring talent. A next stop after collaborations with the likes of Victoria Beckham and tastemaker Camille Charrière, SUPRIYA LELE X MANGO is a clever association with an aesthetic that is more cult than classic.

Debuting her eponymous fashion brand at London Fashion Week 2017, Lele has since paid tribute to her dual-heritage throughout her brand vision, drawing inspiration from her childhood summers in India across the backdrop of her British upbringing. This capsule  explores a liminality between avant garde basics and transparent materials, with wispy silhouettes and easy drapes, all celebrating the female form. 

Featuring an assortment of 34 pieces, the collection is shaded in neutral, mellow tones, with the occasional playful metallic baby blue and iridescent soft pink. Playful designs, such as crochet feathered dresses, wet-look swimwear, and chainmail handbags play to Supriya’s strengths.

As the days grow longer and the heat begins to (hopefully) linger, SUPRIYA LELE X MANGO invites wearers to step into a dreamscape of freedom and fluidity, and step into the sensual.
