Harry Styles’ brand Pleasing enters the sexual wellness space with Pleasing Yourself, a buzzy new launch
Unabashed, liberated sexuality has always been Harry Styles’ MO – anyone remember Watermelon Sugar and its not-so-subtle fruit metaphors? Now, a new launch from his beauty brand Pleasing seals the deal.
Branching out from the Pleasing roster of fragrance and clothing, the launch of two new sexual wellness products under the Pleasing Yourself line – the Pleasing Double Sided Vibrator and the Pleasing Lube – has been made in collaboration with sex educator Zoë Ligon. Sexual wellness brands often struggle to strike the right note, coming off either too clinical or too gimmicky. With the wand’s sleek, streamlined design and tasteful maroon shade, Pleasing is bringing some integrity into an oft-dismissed field.
Beyond just providing pleasure, the brand expansion signals a deeper, more socially active shift: Pleasing is partnering with Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) to promote sex education and health literacy on a broad scale. The sale of each vibrator will include a financial contribution to PPFA to support their essential work protecting access to sex education. Pleasing will also be producing and distributing condoms that declare “I’m for Planned Parenthood”.
“Sexual wellness is such an important part of a person’s mental health and overall wellbeing, and is something we’re proud to embrace and speak about openly,” says Harry Lambert, creative director of Pleasing. “This new category marks the beginning of a broader focus on wellness, pleasure, joy, and care—all things that play a big role in our founder’s life, and we’re really excited to share this next chapter of Pleasing with the world.”
