The London-based Diplomat Design duo, Ashley Hall and Matt Kavanagh, used styrofoam moulds buried in sand to create this family of one-of-a-kind pieces. Hot iron is poured over the moulds, casting the shapes along the bauble-like styrofoam surface, leaving behind a sturdy, sculptural set of rough legs and a polished seat.
