Jessica loves this… Because it’s the younger sister to YSL’s Paris. It’s frisky and wriggly. It’s Kate Moss in a leather basque – a bit messy around the edges, but pulled together. It’s dusky, soft and not afraid to admit it comes straight from the lab, not nature – it’s a quick hit of fruity floral (rose) followed by a powdery veneer. Parisienne will appeal to the label-conscious among us who are too young for Opium or Poison and not yet enamoured with the allure of Angel. It’s the luxurious antidote to celebrity scents.
